Download PdfThe Consortium University Borrowing (PUC) is a free service that allows you to request and borrow documents from the libraries of the institutions that form part of the Consortium of University Services of Catalonia (CSUC)..
The university libraries participating in the PUC are: UB, UAB, UPC, UPF, UdG, UDL, URV, URL, UVIC-UCC, UOC and National Library of Catalonia.
This service also implies the free movement of users through any library of the participating institutions, as long as they are duly identified with the institution's student card (any other identification will NOT be valid). In times of maximum influx, students from each center will have priority and access may be limited.
The request can be made directly through the CercaTot CCUC / PUC drop-down, or in person, in the library where the documents are deposited (préstec in situ).
Users of this service are:
- Undergraduate, master's and postgraduate students
- Doctoral students
- Professors, PDI and PAS
ed to the UdL, or who have exceeded the date of return of a document, or are blocked by the delay in the return of a document, as well as alumni, will NOT be able to enjoy this service.
The subject of this service is all the documents of the CBUC libraries, except those that each library may exclude, such as the recommended bibliography, reference works, journals or old books.
- Undergraduate students: 4 documents for 10 days (audiovisuals 5 days)
- Postgraduate, master's and doctoral students: 8 documents for 20 days (audiovisuals 5 days)
- Professors, PDI and PAS: 8 documents for 20 days (audiovisuals 5 days)
- Other authorized users: 4 documents for 10 days (audiovisuals 5 days)
The maximum number of documents that can be obtained through the PUC includes both those that are requested, those that are on borrowing and those that are being returned to the institution where they belong.
